Hello and welcome to Paradise Unbound!

My name is Arendos and I am the developer of this game. It took me over 2 years to make this RPG game. I wanted to make a game with a tropical, colorful feel to it. Paradise Unbound certainly has that, but it also has its fair share of dark and creepy areas. 

I've made a few RPG Maker games in the past, using just the vanilla settings. This time, I wanted to incorporate a bunch of plugins to enhance the gaming experience. I used VisuStella for that. I added mods for lighting, quests, crafting, furniture and much more. It's a pretty long game. I'd say it takes 12-20 hours to complete, depending on how many sidequests and other optional stuff you take on.

There's a lot to do in this game. You can gather resources. You can craft items, weapons, armor or furniture. You can decorate your house or any secret base. You can take on strong enemies called Rampants. The game has just a few sidequests in the early chapters, but there's a lot more when you proceed in the story. Later on, you can also unlock a quiz game and even a battle arena.

I added tutorials for the main mechanics of the game, like crafting, battling, weaknesses and statuses.

The different battle themes, as well as some area bgm's, were made using Udio, an AI-music tool. I also used some AI tools for custom sprites and images.

I started this project just for fun - and I finished it just for fun as well! So you can download it for free!

 I've playtested the full game multiple times, but there's bound to be bugs left, seeing as it's such a long game with many systems in place. And I'm just a solo developer. So reporting any bugs, errors or other mistakes is also appreciated! There will be updates and patches in the future, probably :)
